🌞 Apply SPF 30 daily, especially from April to September.

👕 Rock Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) clothing, especially if you have fair skin.

👀 Keep an eye on your skin. Watch out for non-healing lesions or newly-pigmented areas for more than six weeks, especially in sun-exposed areas. If something seems off, seek medical attention.

The NHS also offers some helpful tips:

🌴 Chill in the shade between 11 am and 3 pm when the sun’s rays are strongest.

 Slather on sunscreen lotion 30 minutes before heading out and reapply just before leaving.

💦 Remember to reapply every two hours, even if your sunscreen claims to be “water resistant.”
