CONCERNED ABOUT A MOLE?
Many people become concerned about moles because they:
- Catch on clothing
- Become irritated
- Affect confidence
- Have changed in appearance
- Are located in visible areas
A consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your concerns and determine the most appropriate course of action.
Any mole that is changing in size, shape, colour, itching, bleeding or causing concern should always be checked by a GP or dermatologist before considering cosmetic treatment.
PURE Holistic Beauty does not diagnose skin cancer. Client safety always comes first.

Mole Reduction Treatment FAQs
Can moles be treated in one session?
In many cases, moles can be treated during a single appointment. The suitability of treatment will depend on the type, size and location of the mole, and this will always be assessed during your consultation.
Every client is different, so Jacqui will discuss the most appropriate treatment plan and answer any questions before treatment begins.
Is there any downtime?
There is very little downtime following treatment, and most clients return to their normal daily activities straight afterwards.
The treated area may appear slightly pink and a small scab may form as part of the natural healing process. This is completely normal, and you’ll be given detailed aftercare advice to help your skin heal as well as possible.
Will mole removal leave a scar?
Every person’s skin heals differently, so it’s not possible to guarantee how your skin will heal.
The aim is always to achieve the best possible cosmetic result while treating the area carefully and professionally. During your consultation, Jacqui will explain what you can realistically expect and provide personalised aftercare advice to support the healing process.
Can moles be removed from the face?
Many moles on the face and body can be successfully treated following a professional assessment.
As facial skin requires extra care, every treatment is carried out gently and precisely to achieve the best possible cosmetic outcome.
When should I be concerned about a mole?
Most moles are completely harmless, but it’s important to keep an eye on any changes. If a mole becomes asymmetrical, develops an irregular border, changes colour, increases in size, or begins to itch, bleed or crust over, you should seek medical advice from your GP or dermatologist as soon as possible. Your safety will always come first, and if there is any doubt about a mole, cosmetic treatment should only be considered once it has been medically assessed.
Should I have my mole checked before considering cosmetic treatment?
Yes. Although most moles are completely harmless, it’s important that any mole which has changed in size, shape or colour, has become itchy, started bleeding or simply looks unusual is assessed by your GP or dermatologist before cosmetic treatment is considered.
Your health and safety will always be my priority. During your consultation, I’ll carefully assess the area you’re concerned about and discuss whether cosmetic treatment is appropriate. If I have any concerns about the appearance of a mole, I’ll always recommend that you seek medical advice before proceeding with treatment.
How much does mole treatment cost?
The cost of treatment depends on the size, type and location of the mole being treated.
During your consultation, Jacqui will assess the area and provide a personalised quotation before any treatment begins, so you’ll always know exactly what to expect.
Does mole treatment hurt?
Most clients describe the treatment as mild discomfort rather than pain.
Everyone experiences treatment differently, but many clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the procedure is. Before treatment begins, Jacqui will explain everything clearly, answer any questions you may have and make sure you feel relaxed and reassured. Your comfort is always a priority, and treatment will never begin until you’re completely happy to proceed.
How long does treatment take?
The treatment itself is often completed quite quickly.
However, all treatment appointments are booked for a minimum of one hour, allowing plenty of time to review your consultation, answer any further questions, take clinical photographs, carry out your treatment carefully and explain your aftercare thoroughly before you leave.
